Car Insurance Mitsubishi (Car Insurance). Carbon fiber body advice?

Carbon fiber body advice? Hi guys For a long time now i've been dreaming of & slowly formulating ideas (engineering solutions and design etc) for a hovercraft, which I will design and build to operate comparable to current cars on the road today. I have for some time since an early age built go carts etc and I do work with wood a lot, building furniture pieces etc but for some time have devoted my time to working on somewhat modest home-engineering type projects, obviously with a fairly limited range of equipment and tools and so on (no furnice, windtunnel, etc etc). So after some long research into all the information relating to laying composites for parts from fiberglass and carbon fiber and both, i've decided that due to the weight-to-strength properties of carbon fiber construction, that's the material i will build the body from on an aluminium frame (weight is paramount here). So what I'd like to know is, after watching several videos and demonstrations etc of using carbon fiber for various types of applications, I feel confident on this process and have tips and recommendations to get the best results etc, but I have an idea to make the sculpting of the carbon fiber body as easy and best quality as possible, and that is to vitually sculpt a model of the craft's body itself out of foam (ie. polystyrene or similar) which i'm thinking will be fairly simple to sculpt, and lay the epoxy resin and carbon fiber cloth over that to formulate panels for it's body?? Is this a feasible way of going about it?? Any suggestions/tips/etc would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

The foam base is most common and simple.Briefly, sculpt the foam with a hot wire or coarse abrasives,Then coat it with drywall mud.Sand and recoat with the same then prime with latex primer. After it hardens, apply several thick coats of auto paste wax to serve as a release agent. Then lay up the cloth and resin. You got me...I found it at http://u96.info/146402/go-carts

Mitsubishi . Another question about offering a seat to someone..?

Another question about offering a seat to someone..? Lol, sorry. So, I'm disabled. I don't APPEAR disabled though to the common eye. My disability is called fibromyalgia and I have it pretty bad, though I try to manage it as well as possible. Look it up if you don't know what it is, but it basically means I'm in constant pain 24/7. Now, I do work full time (actually 50 hours a week) and I DO NOT whine about my disability at all, however sometimes it gets the best of me and I need to sit or I will collapse if I push myself too far with too much standing or walking. Now, if I were to come up to you saying I'm sorry normally I wouldn't ask this but I'm disabled is there any way I could have your seat please? would you give it to me, or would you blow me off because I don't APPEAR to have a disability? I seriously want to know! There are times where I'm on the verge of tears I'm in so much pain but I don't want to ask someone for their seat because I think they'll think I'm crazy or just trying to get attention when really that's not the case, I'm just in immense amounts of pain and need a chair! Lol. And for the women -- would you be mad if your husband gave up his seat to me under these circumstances? Like I said I've never done it before because I always feel too embarassed -- I'd rather sit there in pain. My husband HAS seen me struggling though and asked people if I could have their seat. They usually give it. Just curious people! car insurance.

Car turns over but won't start? I have a Chevy Malibu Classic 2005 (which is the same as the 04 and 03) and it won't start. Every time I turn the key in the ignition it cranks like normal, and it sounds like it wants to start. All my lights come on in the dash, the headlights, radio, everything. I tried jumping it but it still would not work. I got my ignition switch replaced 6 months ago, when that was messed up it would not even crank so I know it's not that. It's been fine up until now no problems whatsoever so I'm not sure what can be wrong with it. I heard something about the theft deterrent systems in these cars, maybe that could be it? car insurance.

Mitsubishi . How to Repair the Radius Arm Bushings on a 1994 Ford Explorer

The 1994 Ford Explorer features a radius arm suspension system. The radius arm connects the axle and shock absorber to the body frame. The radius arm is typically made of stamped steel and features rubber bushings at the connection points. The radius arm bushings can fail due to cracking or excessive wear. If the bushings fail, the radius arm may create a lot of noise as the metal contacts other metal. This could lead to additional damage to the radius arm. Replacing the radius arm bushings can help avoid any structural damage.
Difficulty:Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Socket wrench
Floor jack
Jack stands
Lug wrench
Wheel blocks

Step by Step :
1
Set the parking brake and install blocks behind the rear wheels. Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench on the front wheel you will be working on. Use a jack to raise the vehicle until the wheels do not touch the ground. Place jack stands under the vehicle for support. Remove the lug nuts and the wheel.
2
Place the jack under the front axle. Remove the nuts and bolts with a socket wrench from the radius arm where it connects to the shock absorber. Remove the brake caliper with the socket wrench. Remove the bolts and nuts at the bottom of the spring with the socket wrench. Remove the spring from the axle.
3
Loosen the pivot bolt on the axle arm with the socket wrench. Remove the nut, washer and bushing from the rear of the radius arm with the socket wrench.
4
Push the radius arm forward until it clears the bracket. Remove the bushing from the end of the radius arm.
5
Install a new bushing onto the end of the radius arm. Pull the radius arm back into the bracket. Install a new bushing onto the rear of the radius arm and tighten the nut with the socket wrench. Tighten the swivel bolt on the axle arm with the socket wrench.
6
Attach the spring and tighten the bottom bolts and nuts with the socket wrench. Install the brake caliper with the socket wrench. Connect the radius arm to the shock absorber and tighten the nuts with the socket wrench.
7
Remount the wheel and tighten the lug nuts. Remove the jack stands and lower the vehicle with the jack. Make sure the lug nuts are secure. Remove the wheel blocks and release the parking brake. Drive the vehicle slowly to make sure it operates properly before driving it at normal speeds.
Tips & Warnings
Always use jack stands when working under a vehicle.

Mitsubishi . How to Remove Trailing Arm Bushings

The trailing arms on a vehicle are the parts that work with the suspension of the car. The arms run between the chassis of the car and wheel axles and allow for the needed movement of the car. Within the arms there is a small cylindrical bushing that makes space for the conductors of the system. If your trailing arm bushing is overly worn or rusted, you will need to remove it in order to correct the damage.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Car jack
Jack stands
Lug nut remover
Ratchet
Socket
Steel mallet

Step by Step :
1
Park your car on solid, flat ground and raise the back end with a car jack enough to work under it. Both the right and the left side of the rear of the car need to be securely supported with sturdy jack stands.
2
Remove the rear tires and wheels with a lug nut remover. Disconnect the brake line sensor running to the trailing arms by pulling it off carefully.
3
Take out the bolts holding the trailing arms into the car using a ratchet and socket. Carefully set the trailing arm on a table or work surface.
4
Stand directly behind the trailing arm with it arranged vertically in front of you. The bushing should be perpendicular to you within the arm.
5
Pound on the inside of the arm to force the bushing out using a steel mallet. You should be forcing the bushing to the side of the arm that is exposed when the arm is installed in the car.
6
Remove both bushings in the same way and proceed to handle the trailing arms however you need.
Tips & Warnings
Use good lighting when working so you can see clearly what parts of the car need to be removed.

Use caution when removing the bushing from the arm as you may accidentally hit another part of the piece and break it.

Many people refer to the process of using plastic body filler as bondoing. Although "bondo" has become a synonym for all car body fillers, Bondo is really the commercial name of a variety of auto body-repair products put out by one company. Many plastic compounds are on the market for filling small holes, dents, and creases in the surface of your car. Buy a good-quality product (the cheap stuff may break loose or flake away) and follow the directions on the package closely. Most kits contain at least two substances: the filler itself and a hardener, which you mix with the filler before you use it. An all-purpose kit may contain filler, hardener, spot-and-glaze putty, screening for filling holes, applicators, and a can of spray primer. Check carefully at the auto supply store to find the kit with the easiest instructions that can do the job for you as simply as possible. The salespeople should be helpful if you tell them that this is your first attempt at bodywork. To give you an idea of how to apply plastic body filler, here are a few general instructions that suit most situations (but be sure to read and follow the directions on the product you buy): 1. Clean the body area thoroughly to remove all traces of dirt, wax, or rust. You can find instructions for cleaning your car in Chapter 23. 2. Sand the area before you apply the filler, using #180 or #220 aluminum oxide sandpaper (you can find it at an auto supply store). 1077 Car Insurance lexus es 1998 219150

Because body fillers don't stick to paint, you must sand the area. When sanding, be sure to feather-edge (blend) the paint edges to prevent the old paint from chipping up through the new paint in the future and to ensure a good bond. Work inward from the edges of the dent to avoid enlarging the damaged area. 3. Mix only as much hardener-filler as you're going to use right away. The hardener-filler combination starts to harden immediately, so mix only what you need. Mix up a relatively small batch at a time, using the proportions recommended on the can, and then mix up more when you

need it. This process enables you to work without rushing and gives you time to allow each layer to dry before applying the next layer. 4. If there's a hole in the vehicle's body, place fiberglass screening or fine aluminum chicken wire beneath the hole (on the underside of the body) to keep the filler from falling out. Be sure to clean the area under the edges of the hole thoroughly to get rid of any dirt or paint that may be present. Then mix a very small proportion of filler and hardener and apply it to the edges of the screen and the edges of the area to be patched, to hold the screen in place. If the kit

Let the screen patch dry for several hours before going on with the work. 5. Apply the plastic filler, working slowly and carefully to avoid spreading the filler outside the dent or hole and marring the surrounding area. After you finish, the filled portion should be slightly higher than the sur face of the car around it. 6.
